The zombies will thaw after about thirty seconds, but will retain their weakened state, taking on a bluish grey appearance due to the texture not reverting to normal. The Ice also shatters upon being damaged, leaving no corpse behind. The freeze icon, although appearing to be a simple sparkle, is actually the ice seen on the zombie. This is due to the glow around the power-up being relatively large compared to the power-up icon itself. If Freeze is obtained at the end of a round, it will freeze any spawning zombies for thirty seconds.
